No.1 Mobile Rack Supplier
What’s Mobile Pallet Racking?
Mobile Pallet Racking is used for the storage of row material, finished product or mold. It can be also used in cold store or frozen store. According to the warehouse condition, there are mobile pallet racking for normal temperature, frozen warehouse mobile pallet racking and unti bomb mobile pallet racking,
Mobile Racking is easy to control. Each line of racking have one motor to drive it. The racking can move on the track system.
The major advantage of mobile pallet racking is high space use rate. The racking system only need one aisle. Thus the storage capacity is much higher.
Major Features:
1. Suitable for high investment cost warehouse like cold store and unti bomb warehouse
2. Mobile pallet racking don’t need chain to be transmission part. It can help save energy and have reliable structure.
3.The storage efficiency is very high as the whole storage system only need one aisle.
4. It offer 100% selective right for each pallet, just the same like selective pallet racking.
5. The storage density can be increased by 80% compare with normal selective pallet racking.
6. The structure is simple but reliable and safety. The racking can be moved without power supply.
7. Electrical reach truck can be used in mobile pallet racking system for better operation. This forklift can be intellgent driveless operation to make automated racking system.

Component Of Mobile Pallet Racking

The system have many components to work safely and effectively.
1. Moving Base (Carriage): Each rack row sits on a strong steel frame. This frame has wheels underneath. The wheels roll on special tracks in the floor. This base carries the whole rack structure.
2. Floor Tracks (Rails): Workers install strong steel tracks into the concrete floor. These tracks guide the wheels of the moving bases. The tracks must be perfectly straight and level. This allows smooth rolling.
3. Power System (Drive):
· Manual Handle: A person turns a handle attached to the rack end. This is common for lighter racks.
· Electric Motor: A motor on the rack does the work. Workers push a button on the rack or use a remote. The motor needs electricity from a cable or special power strip.
4. Computer Control: WMS and WCS tell the racks when to move. can be connected with ERP & MES for fully automatic operation.
5. Rack Structure: This holds the pallets.
· Uprights (Frames):stand vertically on the moving base. They have holes to connect beams.
· Beams: horizontal steel beam between the uprights. Pallets sit on these beams. various loading capacity available
· Braces: Steel bars connect the upright post. This makes the whole frame sturdy and safe.
· Shelf Options: Wire mesh decks or metal supports on the beams provider extra safety. This helps hold smaller items or prevent damage to base if pallet dropping
6. End Frames: These are the static uprights at each end of a moving row. They are often stronger than middle frames. They hold important parts like controls, safety switches, and guide wheels.
7. Guide Wheels (Rollers): These wheels are on bottom of end frames. They press against fixed guide rails. This keeps the moving rack row straight and stops it from wobbling.
8. Safety Features: Safety is everything
· Brakes: Locks stop the rack row from moving when parked. Workers must engage these before entering the aisle.
· Aisle Lock: This system ensures only one aisle is open at a time. It prevents crashes between rows.
· Sensors: Devices detect people or objects in the way. They stop the racks immediately if something blocks the path.
· Alarms: Lights flash and sirens sound before and during movement. This warns people nearby.
· Barriers: Physical gates block closed aisles. They stop people from walking into a space where racks might move.
· Stop Buttons: Big red buttons let workers halt the racks in an emergency.
8. Controls: Workers operate powered systems from a panel. This panel has buttons or a small screen. It shows the rack status.
9. Electricity Supply (For Powered Racks): Moving racks need power. This usually comes from:
· Flexible Cable: A long cable stretches and folds as the rack moves.
· Power Strip: A rigid metal strip runs along the track. A connector on the rack draws power from it.
