- Side Panels & Post serve as upright frames to support the complete shelving.
- Back Panels act as solid shelving back to provide extra support. Can be replaced by cross back bracing to reduce cost

- Kick plates: metal strips cover the space between the floor and bottom shelf, also prevent hurt worker’s feet.

Assembling Rolled Edge Shelving: Key Questions Answered
Before starting, here’s what you need to know:
How much time does it take? A standard unit takes about 15-30 minutes to assemble.
How many people are required? One person can do it, but two people will make it faster and easier, especially for lifting and aligning shelves.
What tools are required? You only need a wrench and rubber hammer. A regular hammer can damage the finish. Wear gloves for better protection.
Step-by-Step Assembly Guide for Rolled Edge Shelving
Follow these simple steps to build your storage solution. 🛠️
Step 1: Unpack and Organize Components
First, open the box and lay out all the parts. Check everything against the instruction manual to ensure all pieces are included. You should have:
Side Panel (also called the “upright post”)
Back Panel
Shelves
Shelf clips and bolts & Nuts
Kick Plate
Joiner Strip for more than one bay.

Step 2: Assemble Two Side Panel With Back Panel
Take two side panel, connect side panel with back panel by bolts & nuts . Use wrench to fasten the bolts & nuts firmly
Step 3: Assemble the kick plate.
Now, stand the assembled side panel and back panel. Attach the kick plate with both side panel by bolts & nuts.
Step 4: Install the Shelves
With the frame built, add the shelves to the frame now. Start from the bottom and work your way up. Place 4 magic shelf clips on the side panel first, then place shelf into the 4 magic clips. Ensure each shelf is level before moving to the next.
Step 5: Install the Shelves
Place shelf divider & label on the shelves if you order such accessory.
Step 5: Final Checks
Once all parts are installed, do a final check. Make sure each shelf is fully seated in the clips and that the entire unit is stable. If you plan to store heavy items, secure the unit to a wall for added safety.
